Like each unique member of an orchestra, music helps us understand how we can pursue a common goal together while celebrating our similarities and differences. Last April, LiveArts united over 7,000 artists, students and concertgoers through the power of music. As the kids involved in LiveArts would tell you, hearing and performing legendary orchestral works live is a powerful experience that transforms, enlightens, transports and heals. The Grand Rapids Symphony strives to present opportunities to connect audiences to these universal experiences that uplift and inspire.
In an effort to continue the impact on youth and our community through LiveArts, the Grand Rapids Symphony has launched two new initiatives to make music accessible to all: Free for Families and Symphony Scorecard. These two programs are designed to engage non-traditional symphony audiences, and enhance accessibility to symphony events for future generations.
Free for Families and Symphony Scorecard are
made possible through generous support from the Daniel and Pamella DeVos
Foundation.
