Underwritten by the Wege Foundation, the Neighborhood Concert Series places the Symphony in neighborhoods across the community. Ensembles will perform a series of concerts and both large and small that expand access to LIVE orchestral music and engage new communities with the orchestra. Past Neighborhood Concert performances have been held at John Ball Zoo, Blandford Nature Center, and the Kroc Center. The Neighborhood Concert Series is funded by the generous support of community individuals, corporations, and foundations.
Neighborhood Concert Series
We are performing in parks all around the community! They are free to attend and you can come and go as you please. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy music in the summer sun!
Arrive early and enjoy some pre-concert activities including our kids' instrument discovery (formerly instrument petting zoo) beginning one hour prior to showtime.
Additionally, on July 26, the Humane Society of West Michigan will be joining us with their mobile adoption trailer with furry friends who will be able to meet with potential families and even get adopted into their forever homes! If interested in adopting, please click HERE to apply online ahead of time!
