With the Grand Rapids Symphony’s Free for Kids program, students ages 7-18* are able to attend select GR Symphony concerts for free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
Free for Kids concert tickets are available for:
· Richard and Helen DeVos Classical Series
· Fox Motors Pops Series*
· DTE Energy Foundation Family Series**
· Symphony with Soul
Purchase Free for Kids tickets through the GRS Ticket office only. Tickets must be purchased in advance. By phone: 616/454-9451 x 4; in person: 300 Ottawa Ave. NW, Suite 100, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Free for Kids tickets are not available online or at the door.

Free for Kids offers complimentary admission in seating levels 1-4 to kids in high school or younger when accompanied by a regular-price adult ticket (offer excludes senior and other discounts). Up to two (2) Free for Kids tickets are available per regular-price adult ticket. For students outside of the ages of participation in Free for Kids, Student Tickets are available.
GR Symphony concerts are not recommended for children under 7 years or who are unable to sit quietly for the duration of a concert. If you are interested in concert programming for smaller children, please consider our PNC Lollipops performances.
Additional restrictions may apply. Availability is subject to change without notice. Tickets available while supplies last. Seat location will be determined by the Grand Rapids Symphony. Free for Kids may not be used in combination with other offers.
GR Symphony Subscribers must request Free for Kids tickets in person at the GR Symphony Ticket office and may be re-seated. Any price differences associated with upgraded seats will be charged to the subscriber, and no refunds are issued for moving to a lower priced seat.
*Free for Kids tickets for Holiday Pops are available for the Thursday performance, only.
** Free for Kids tickets are available for children of all ages for Family Series concerts.
