Description:

Grand Rapids Symphony returns to ArtPrize with new, cutting-edge music by four young composers competing in the $500,000 exhibition and competition.

Best of all, all nine mini-concerts are free at The Morton, 55 Ionia Ave. NW, during the 10th anniversary ArtPrize.

Join us Friday and Saturday, September 28-29, when guest conductor Jacomo Bairos returns to lead the Grand Rapids Symphony in Danza Ritual by Emmanuel Berrido, Zarathustra Mixtape by Tyler Eschendal, Remembrances by Jiyoung Ko, and Blowing Mad Clouds by Daniel Leo.

Grand Rapids Symphony is delighted to cooperate with the American Composers Orchestra’s EarShot program to discover and promote the work of emerging composers.
