Grand Rapids Symphony

Clad in their zoot suits, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will get listeners jumping and jiving with their modernized version of swing. 

Credited with starting an international revival of swing in the 1990s, the seven-man band has successfully fused the classic American sounds from jazz, swing, Dixieland and big band music with a contemporary style. Their signature tune, "You, Me and the Bottle Makes Three (Tonight)," and "Go Daddy-O" were featured in the 1996 indie film "Swingers," rocketing this group to their initial phase of stardom. They've made multiple appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "Live with Regis and Kelly," and recently on reality television's "Dancing with the Stars."
