Mozart and Mendelssohn

David Lockington describes this concert as “an eclectic mix of music.”  It features two works from rising star composer Timothy Andres, including the “Paraphrase on Themes of Brian Eno," plus the music of Mozart, Stravinsky and Mendelssohn.  Who would think composer Brian Eno, of Roxy Music and U2 fame, would appear in a classical program, but here it is with this work that is gentle and lyrical.
